Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:
Not too complicated.  This was one of my earliest song giftings from God.... back when I truly did not expect Him to give me but a few songs as answers to my by-now-3-years of praying to write songs for Him.  Not that I doubted our God's power.  I just was (am) quite aware of all my many faults.... of how I assuredly    did not (and do not) deserve the honor of writing  God's word into musical format.

I had with God's help endured something at church 18 months earlier, but was still enduring things that I had no ability to do anything about.  So I was thrilled to find the
"NO FEAR HERE" verse that because a full song on its own.... 2nd Timothy 1:7.
But -- with my poor memory -- I knew I'd soon forget.
So I took an earlier song gift from God,  I PRAISE YOU DESPITE,
and started working in key verses to help me memorize WHERE to find God's Promises.
And God guided me to develop the song for you, to help you remember....

Dedicated to our God Who Keeps All His Promises  15 October 2009

You, God, are Almighty, and yet You love me.
Help me learn to trust You beyond what I see.
Proverbs 3: 5 and 6   promise You will guide me
even when I can't understand.    Even when I can't see Your plan.

For You are my Savior!             You've loved me forever.
I insult Your love when I say      “God won't care.”
I insult Your power when I think my problems
are far more than I....      can bear,  .........    can bear.

Two Timothy 1:  7 is God's promise:
I am free from fear when I have His Spirit.
Instead, I have love, power, self-discipline.
With You there's no spirit of fear in me.

I thank You for comforting me.     <chorus>3
First Peter One promises:    Trials help me.
They show ev'ryone that God   will   set us free!
When I show God's joy despite problems I see,
James 1  says, completeness I'll see in me.
God's crown of life will come to me!  <chorus>

Not trials nor my sins can separate me
from God's love, He says -- Romans 8: 28.
Thankfully I stand firm in God's safe breast-plate.
Ephesians 6:  God protects me,
when I put on His gifts to me.  <chorus>

God calls US to stand firm and endure problems.
We support each other and endure hardships.
Two Timothy 2 says that we MUST endure.
Verse 10 says eternal glory we'll see.
Verse 13, God's faithful to me!  <chorus>

Second Timothy Chapter 3, in verse 12:
Problems come to all who seek to live Godly.
Yet 16 reminds us that God's Word is Truth.
Go's gift that shall make us COMPLETE.
God's Word that problems CAN'T   DEFEAT!

Seek His will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Song Verse 2.   SECOND TIMOTHY 1: 7  NKJV.

Song Verse 3.   FIRST  PETER 1: 6-9  NKJV.                  LINK
"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, [being] much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see [Him], yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of [your] souls.“

Song Verse 4.

EPHESIANS 6:  10-18
    NKJV                                        LINK
10.“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
11.“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. “
12.“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].”
13.“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
14.“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,”
15.“and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;”
16.“above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”
17.“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; “
18.“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints--”

10    “Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

13   “If we are faith-less, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”
verse 7   “Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.”

Song TAG.
SECOND TIMOTHY 3: 12, 16    NLT.
12.  Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
13.  But evil people and impostors will flourish. They will deceive others and will themselves be deceived.
14.  But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you.
15.  You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.
16.  All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
