Song Story: 
                It was hard  to write, practice, and record this simple psalm music.  Simple music, but so full of sorrow.  Weeping if you really pray these words.  CONSIDER this:

1-   On the one hand, here is David  weeping for being apart from God because of the sins he had chosen;  this was written around the time of David's deliberate choice to sin with  Bathsheba at any cost ---  including murdering her husband.

2-   And we know from God's repeated Words that  WE should be crying out over our sins, rather than simply  rejoicing in God's promised forgiveness when we humbly ask Jesus to forgive.
 
3-   And then, we have Jesus  crying out in Matthew 23: 37 as He looks over the city of Jerusalem ---  “How I wanted to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings -- but YOU were not willing.” 
    SO MUCH CRYING OUT  IS IN OUR LIVES.... ALL BECAUSE WE CHOOSE            OUR OWN CHOICES.  GOD CRIES OUT IN DEUTERONOMY 30: 19, “CHOOSE LIFE.”

BUT WE SO OFTEN CHOOSE  'ME'  instead.
And God who LOVES us is sad.   Deuteronomy 30:19:  CHOOSE LIFE.

READING WITHIN THE RECORDING:
After writing his Psalm 88 Crying Out,  surely David returned to his Psalm 32.  
 
Verses 1 to 7: “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.  Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.  When I kept silent [that is, did not confess my sins], my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long.

   4  For day and night, Your Hand was heavy upon me.  My vitality was turned into the drought of summer.  Selah.  [Think on this.]

   5   I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden.  I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,'  and You FORGAVE the iniquity of my sin!

   6  For this cause, EVERYONE who is godly shall pray to You in a time when You may be found;  surely a flood of many waters --- they shall not come near him.

   7  You are my HIDING place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.”

THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT as JESUS DESCRIBED in Matthew 22:43.

GOD:   "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life   [God... salvation....]

Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:  I literally have no idea how I "came up" with this music... except that I humbly asked God for some "powerful" music.  This came out. Johnny Kyle later listened, grabbed his guitar at the studio, prayed with me for guidance, and "came out" with this screamingly-appropriate   weeping lead guitar....

I confess:   I get  SO  frustrated by most churches.

I REMEMBER  like yesterday the days a couple of decades  ago
when I  YEARNED  to find God... But  all these confusing huge words in churches
that were 'explained' to tell me 'how'  to get right with  God  just  made me
quit trying.  I quit trying.  I quit seeking.  I didn't know God does not HAVE to be found in a church.

I at one time was frustrated, but now I am FURIOUS at sermons about predestination
that DEFAME  God,  our Loving Right-ous God who sent Jesus to save ALL the
world.  Words that claim God has pre-determined some people to be saved...
These same words say that loving God has by logical reverse
             pre-determined some people to live in HELL forever....

           RUBBISH!  LIES AGAINST GOD!   Not to 

    mention       ABSOLUTELY   IL-LOGICAL WORDS

             by the same churches that preach John 3:16 
     (God so loved the WORLD that He sent His son... to save the WORLD -- 
          to save anyone who answers,  not selected humans). 

And so I asked God to give me music for a song that 

teaches His Truth about

Predestination ----- and that SUPPORTS that this is God's Truth and NOT my ideas  by quoting,  right within the song,  many of the numerous Bible scriptures of God that say so.

Through Romans 5:8 to 21, God tells us that Jesus died on the cross so EVERYONE can choose their own destination, heaven or hell.  God sends NO  one to hell but provides the way for EVERYONE to choose life,  as God URGES us to do in Deuteronomy 30 verse 19.

I don't understand _ _ justification and I
sure _ can't _ figure out _ _ propitiation for sins,
BUT _ I've _ seen that God is a God who loves you and me

God showed love to all us _ when Jesus died on that Cross.

               predestination for us.

----- READING  ----
God promises you in Romans 5: 8 -- But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Titus 1 verse 2 says that God cannot lie, cannot break His promises.  We can have PEACE in knowing God's love that we can choose our own destination of life with Him forever.  Here are the simple steps, 0  - 1  -  2 :

There is   NO   way to make ourselves free from sin, on our own power, without Jesus...... NOTHING we ourselves can do  (NO “good deeds”)  so we can go to heaven:
First John 1:8 ==>  “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”         

 [JESUS in John 8:33-36 AND verses around it: FREEDOM=>
        “As He spoke these words, many believed in Him. Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth [GOD'S], and the truth [GOD'S ONLY] shall make you free... Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.  And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.... 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? ... 51 Most assuredly, I say to you,
     if  ANYONE  keeps My word he shall never see death" -- JESUS

There is  ONE way to be forgiven for sins:
First John 1:9 ==> “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

There are TWO  simple steps  to choose Heaven with God as your destination for all eternity after you die and leave this earth:      Romans 10:9 ==> "if you confess with your mouth
   the Lord Jesus
    and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, 
            YOU WILL BE SAVED."

READING  DURING THE FINAL MUSIC:
THE EVENT  TOOK PLACE ON OCTOBER 31 IN THE YEAR 445 B.C., BY THE HEBREW CALENDAR for the date recorded in NEHEMIAH,  Chapter 9's beginning.

(the priests had just found the Torah that had been hidden for years)

        "...the people assembled again, and this time they fasted and dressed in burlap and sprinkled dust on their heads.   Those of Israelite descent separated themselves from all foreigners as they confessed their own sins and the sins of their ancestors.

        They remained standing in place for three hours while the Book of the Law of the LORD their God was read aloud to them. Then for three more hours they confessed their sins and worshiped the LORD their God. ...   and cried out to the LORD their God with loud voices.
         Then the leaders of the Levites ....called out to the people: "Stand up and praise the LORD your God, for he lives from everlasting to everlasting!"

A  "DianaDee" question for pondering....  When will our nations in Europe and America learn from this example?  God is simply delaying the harvest (2nd Peter 3: 8) because He wants ALL people to repent like this and be saved and KNOW TRUTH  (2nd Peter 3:9,   1 Timothy 2:4).  But the time to repent WILL end...

YOU  CHANGE  HISTORY

History is moments that have become past... 

not always centuries.

Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:  
I'd been having trouble sleeping, so I put a mild video in to play.... the droning voices lull me to sleep.  As I awoke one morning, the first words I heard were of a detective saying to a sad person, “You changed history.  How many people can say they've changed history?”  And my INSTANT thought -- which I fervently believe was the Holy Spirit's inspiration -- is that EVERY ONE OF US can change the history of people's lives --- even just smiling at someone who is sad.  Even just speaking to a child or teen in church to show that you consider them important, worthy of your time.

Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:   

    The lyrics,  the music notes and chords -- these were so easy to write.  Again I observe that when preachers of the old days speak of God penning their words, I see so much that these songs are NOT “DianaDee” skills but God's inspiration....
and NOT because I'm someone special.  I just earnestly prayed for several years (see song story for “Third of Despair and Hope”) and the LORD in grace answered.
    But this was really hard to record and write out the music sheet.
    I kept having problems with my computer software for writing music tracks...
it kept changing to 1/32nd notes, which literally quadrupled my work several times over.  But it was exciting to see how God developed in me ideas to switch to half time for the chorus,  bridge,  whatever you'd like to call it.  That weird part in the middle with some really odd instruments God guided me to try! 

    We recorded the song one day after I wrote the lyrics in my Journal #20.    (#1 in this Leatherbound series was March 2009... 350 pages per journal, filled with song giftings yet to be developed with God's help that I dearly need.)  God's Ephesians 3:20-21 empowering at work!   By the way -- I was AMUSED to not realize until I was going to my 2nd studio session of that week:  We recorded 4 new songs for God's WorldWideWeb that week... and all 4 were about History.  Not MY plan!  In fact, 4 songs in a week is only from GOD's empowering, too!May this song change history, encouraging people with  the  JOY of seeing God's purpose in their life....

No musician could ask for more gifted men who are dedicated to serving God to provide supporting music tracks than God has gifted to me.  On this power-punching song,  that is

Johnny Kyle from my J&T Studio on the crunching lead guitar,

and Claxton Wilson from my Valley Worship & Praise Productions Studio on the slamming drums.

Before writing this blog today, I had to go into my music files to remember what the song even sounds like.  Remembering the studio day at J&T gave me a laugh of joy ---

Johnny literally grabbed his guitar and played what he felt -- and this is the FIRST take.  He agrees with my concept, for I had literally sat at the controller keyboard and began playing "anything" on the track I brought to his studio.

We  literally have only a single idea where this music idea came from---->

from GOD.     I  myself am not this talented naturally.  

This is music from the LORD Creator, 

inspired and empowered by His Holy Spirit.

No, this is not  some insulting song about any specific church.... but it  is sadly so descriptive of so many churches.    

The entire CONCEPT of this song came when I was discussing churches with a sorta relative.  I commented that people in our shared church denomination don't really pray.  She angrily replied, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN, OUR CHURCH DOESN'T PRAY?!"

HENCE,  line 1 of this song was born as God drew me to think on it.

It's   heart-breaking   to think of the hard working people in church who are so weary and discouraged, who haven't found either Ephesians 3:20-21's promises of God's strengthening, or Ephesians 6's warnings of the need to pray TOGETHER  for protection  as a united church Body of Christ. 
Oh, please PLEASE see the JOY that's missed   

by any church that does not fervently set aside self-sufficiency---

pride and ask our Great Lord for the Help 

He already yearns to give to you, Church! -- BUT  respects you too much to give that help if you don't ask...
If you do not UNITE in humble prayer for help.

 During a beautiful 65-degree January day -- four days before a predicted heavy snow, and amusingly less than 12 hours after we completed the final tracks for WEATHER WOES PRAISE -- I was just working outdoors when this song's lyrics started coming to mind.  

I admit I was busy and rather ignored them, figuring I'd be able to remember them later.... until I suddenly realized that there was a “melody in my head” also.   I went to my studio, created the bass and drum line, typed out the music sheet while “writing” the melody and chords on the keyboard, recorded the piano track... 

One hour later, this song was basically complete, two full verses with music.  This prayer song is from God for His people, I truly believe.   Not “mine” :)

Romans 7 is a prayer of desperation... but the numbered chapter divisions were not in Paul's original letter.  If your heart prays this song to our LORD, remember to keep reading to Romans 8 and 9:  God WILL answer  sincere prayers for help fighting temptations, with Ephesians 6: 10-end weapons He gives!

         On April 1st as I was driving through Knoxville, Tennessee, USA, I had an idea for a song.  I pulled into a shopping center and began a song draft called “REAL JOY IS THIS.” 
           But as I worked, I quickly realized that there is FAR too much good news from LORD God to fit into that one single song.  So as I researched and drafted out scripture verses to fit that song, I simultaneously was re-assigning some of them to this song about PEACE instead. 
          I continued driving five more hours, also writing the “NO DESCARTESIAN DOUBTS” lyrics set and “ORIGINAL CURSE BLESSINGS” lyrics set at various stops.  That evening I actually finished the lyrics for this song first.  But I also finished the JOY song's lyrics set before going to bed that night.  The music for this song was completed and tested April 4th, AND on the World Wide Web 2 weeks later.

Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:   

       One special purpose of this song:  It embarrasses me to admit, but I was utterly
 confused on what to do after I realized that I was NOT a Christian just because I believed in God.  James 2:19 would have been useful to be emphasized somewhere in 19 years of church-going.  I didn't even know about First John One or Romans 10:9 then.  I actually DID give up on “salvation” at ages 12 and 17... deciding it was too hard to understand and made me feel too guilty. 

     Yet I kept going to church.  Confused.  I pray that God will use songs like this that He has honored me with developing to help others.... as part of HIS answer of promised wisdom for each person, through James 1: 5 and 6.  God wants ALL people to be saved.  
Not just John 3:16 and 17    but ALL through His Word, 
including the original scriptures like Ezekiel 33:11, "Say to them: 'As I live,' says the Lord GOD, 'I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live.
