Song Story: THE LYRICS:
This
started out as a Psalm 121 song, but it got too long to be one song.
I
loved the phrase that is the title... so that became emphasis of the
song: That GOD
Is our best blessing! (7th line of chorus). The first line of chorus
was inspired by Bill Watterson's book title for Calvin and Hobbes,
THERE'S TREASURE EVERYWHERE. We who love God certainly should see
this truth EVERY day... not just when we “FEEL blessed”.

This morning I woke up, put my feet _ on the floor. And
LO and BEHOLD, my legs _ held me up!
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow...
LORD, help me recognize all Your Blessings to me.
This morning, I found that I had enough food and clothes. I had
fresh safe water, some shoes, and a coat.
James 5:11, “you know about Job, a man of great endurance.
You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.”
JOB 1:12 God speaking to Satan: ““All right, you may test him,” the LORD said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” = God's physical protection; notice that James 5:11 specifies that Job is REAL person.
1 Corinthians 1: 4-7 “...gracious gifts He has given you..every spiritual gift you need..”
Ephesians 1: 3-8.
