Song Story:  THE  MUSIC: -->
The original title of this song was “Stewardship Prayer.” That's fancy church word that just means taking care of the gifts that God gives to us... and then joyfully gifting them back to our great God. Its words encourage us to recognize that we should not just assume that we can take care of ourselves until something happens (or a church program fails)   when we declare, only then,  “all we can do is pray.”

As not only individuals but also as a church family in unity, we need to humbly ask God's help so that we can really be good stewards, good caretakers, of His gifts -- especially of the gift of God's Great News, the Gospel. As Paul wrote in 2nd Corinthians 2:5,
even as a church we must have God's power to share His Words to others, and to reflect God as Paul described in 3:18. A confession:

This song is an example of my poor stewardship, to have carelessly mislaid the music ideas that God gifted to me. It was written on loose paper -- not in my journal -- on 2008.07.28 -- exactly one year earlier. I had no studio at the time, and “lost” the papers. I found this drafted song 365 days late while sorting through a box of papers while enjoying sitting upon the warm grass under a tree... near a fire ant nest.
(No, I didn't know what it was...
I was visiting in Alabama and these creatures aren't 'up north' -- yet!)
So I was delighted to later learn how God had protected me even when I didn't realize that He was doing so! And protected His song from loss.

Dedicated to our Lord, 28 July 2009 - from 29 July 2008 :)

LYRICS
1.
Lord, I give myself to You.
There's nothing else that will do.
Without You, I'll surely fail.

But with You, I shall prevail!

Philippians 4:12a and 13:  “I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation...For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.”  (NLT)

2.

Lord, I give my life to You.
All my things, time, talents too.
Without You, some “good deeds” are found.

But with You, my great works abound.

Jesus in John 14:12:
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

3.

Lord, we give our Church to You.
There's nothing else that will do.
Without You, we'll surely fail.

But with You, we shall prevail!

Jesus in Matthew 16:18:  “"And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock  I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it [the CHURCH].”

 4.
Lord, we give our Church Life to You.
All our things, time,  talents too.
Without You, some programs “meet needs.”
With Your power, our Church mission succeeds.

Psalm 127:1  “Unless the LORD builds the house,

they labor in vain who build it.”
Zechariah 4:6.  “Not by might nor by power but by MY spirit, says the Lord of Hosts.”

5.

Lord, we give our Church work to You.
Help our words reflect only You.
Lead us to teach all your World!

Holy Spirit, empower our words!

First Corinthians. 2: 4-5:  ”And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”

Lord, we give our Church Love to You.

Nothing greater can we do.
Help our words, deeds, hearts reflect You.
Help this Church truly glorify You.
                       First Corinthians 10:31b:
“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
A simple real prayer to our Lord,  written in a few minutes at an altar...   and then in a few minutes at the sanctuary piano beside the altar.....   A prayer TO God,  BY God's leading....

The inspiration of the song was thinking about how preachers always give ALTAR CALLs,  but I did not remember ever hearing the phrase "ALTAR ANSWER"  which would seem more important to have!   So .... now the phrase is in a song of God:)

Dedicated to God Who Calls ALL, 29 July 2010

LYRICS
1
God, I'm here with open heart,
open hands, but closed thoughts to
anything but YOU, my Lord.
Here at Your altar I bow.  I am Yours.

God, You've called and called in love.
I'm here.
I say YES
to Your altar call:
I'm Yours!  I'm Yours!

2
Sometimes altars are church places
where I fall on knees to my face.
Sometimes altars are just ground
               where I shove
self-centered-ness down.

God, You've called and called in love.
I'm here.
I say YES
to Your altar call:

                                I'm Yours!  I'm Yours!

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“... Whoever  calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”  --Acts 2:21   NKJV
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”  -- Matthew 11:28

Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
Guided by God literally -- in moments literally.  Based  upon the theme verse for DiDo Reflections -- “Die to Self, Do For Christ, Reflect God, all with
the Holy Spirit's gifts of  Power & Wisdom”  -  2nd Corinthians 3:18

One of my favorite memories of this song was this this was the first month when I began working with the second studio that God provided, since He was giving me too many songs for the main studio to do everything.  The Producer, Johnny, got some fast lessons in the odd song types God gives!

Dedicated to our HOLY  God,  24 May 2010

LYRICS
1
May my life reflect YOU, Lord.

May the glory of YOU, God... shine
on my face so all will see not
me,  but  YOUR   glory!

CHORUS
I say     YES YES YES      to God, God, God.
I say       NO   NO   NO      to sin.
With God's
help I shall refuse to do any-thing that will hurt Him!
God, please help me!       Jesus, help me!
Holy Spirit,    help my life reflect You!

2
May my face shine with God's glory to
show people His Love.  May the
glowing joy of our Lord through me teach
peace through God when we trust.          > CHORUS

3
May my eyes reflect love ---  God's love --- for  each person I meet.  Dear
Holy Spirit, I need Your Pow'r for I   know that eyes can speak.           > CHORUS

4
May my mouth speak Your Way, God, to   show and speak just Truth.  I
need Your power to guard my mouth so I   won't reflect badly on You.   >  CHORUS

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“Do not let sin control the way you live;*   do not give in to its lustful desires.”  -- Romans 6:12  New Living Translation.

“...We can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like Him and
reflect His glory even more.”  -- 2 Corinthians 3:18

Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
The hardest part of this early song from LORD God was the title...
that "S" in the first word is not in the old hymn...
I'm not sure why I added it.. but I've always felt it was what God wanted.
My guess is that it's a word reminder that we don't just pray during a few minutes but for ALL of them...

The next hardest was the SADNESS behind the song as I wrote.  The song was written while thinking about a young woman I'd known for years who became paralyzed at age 18 because she didn't take a moment to fasten her seatbelt so many years earlier.

And the SADNESS knowing how many people I  DEARLY love... deeply care about, my friend (and you know that I mean YOU)    just "can't find the time"  to study and see the LOGIC
that's woven throughout the Bible, calling us to just look and think and pray for wisdom....
LOST moments now.  I am sad but to a tiniest degree of how GOD is SAD when we won't
take the moments to seek for Him.  For God repeatedly PROMISES...
If you seek Him, You Will find him.   (See the song  TRUTH SEEKERS PRAYER for scripture references.)

ORIGINAL  Song Story:
The beginning of this song is somber, created (literally “in moments”) as
I remembered a teen whose life changed forever, crippled in one moment because she was not wearing a seatbelt while a teen driver was changing radio stations.
*    Children drown during the very few moments their caretaker was distracted.
*    Quick decisions have more impact than we ever dreamed.
So many moments of despair... when we must choose
whether to blame God or to turn to Him for comfort.
And...... so many moments of despair that we ourselves cause without meaning to --
not saying “I care about you” or “I'm sorry,” or
not bothering to even flash a small smile at someone who is hiding despair and hopelessness.      Not noticing our few careless, pain-causing  words spoken in a moment of gossip         we didn't plan, didn't mean to say.
Yet MOMENT BY MOMENT, God is beside us,
willing to forgive whatever the wrong thing we did or said, the moment we ask.

Willing to comfort and help us as we
deal with the natural consequences of our moments
that follow through their course, even after He forgives us.
Eager to to say “Yes, My child!”
the moment we invite Him into our life's  remaining  moments.

Chorus is based on the song “Moment by Moment” by  Daniel Whittle and May Whittle Moody       (Public Domain,   CCLI 68924)

Dedicated to our ever-With-Us Lord, 29 October 2009

LYRICS
1
A moment in time -- That's all it took --
not buckling a seatbelt.  Who knew that it would
change our lives forever, that ONE  moment in time.

2
A moment in time -- That's all it took --
adjusting car music.  Who knew that it would
change our lives forever, that ONE  moment in time.

Chorus                      (CHORUS  based on old hymn)
Moment by moment, I'm kept in His love.
Moment by moment, I've life from above.
Moments or sorrow God did NOT bring me!!!
Yet moment by moment,
God is beside me.

3
A moment in time -- That's all it took --
ONE moment of sin -- who knew that it would
HAUNT MY LIFE forever,  that ONE  moment in time.

Chorus
Moment by moment, I'm kept in His love.
Moment by moment, I've life from above.
Moments or sorrow God did NOT bring me!!!
Yet moment by moment,
God is beside me.

4
A moment in time -- that's all that it takes --
such heart-breaking pain from our moments' mistakes.
Who knew that they could change our lives forever,
those ONE moments in time?

5
A moment in time -- that's all that it needs --
not stopping our gossip, not sharing "good deeds."
Who knew that they could change THEIR lives forever,
those ONE moments in time?

Chorus
Moment by moment, I'm kept in His love.
Moment by moment, I've life from above.
Moments or sorrow God did NOT bring me!!!
Yet moment by moment,
God is beside me.

ENDING  (WITH JOY!)
A moment in time -- That's all it that it takes! to
tell God you're sorry and want Him as your Lord!
That moment in time, spelled in Romans 10, verse 9
will begin joy-filled moments with God --
a lifetime, of peace from trusting moments with God
for all time!

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“Lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. ”
-- Jesus, in Matthew 28:30b (last verse in King James Version)
Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."  (full verse, in New Living Translation)

“I have set  the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure.”

Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:

This is a PATTERN song, to help people find related scriptures. In this song, the pattern is Chapter 1, verse 21 (Colossians, James, Romans) to help us see that Jesus wept and gave His all to save his enemies.... Jesus wept and gave His all to save YOU and me while we were His enemies..... and Jesus calls us to follow His example.
Dedicated to Amazingly loving Jesus,  8 January 2012.

LYRICS
SPOKEN:
Romans 5:8   (New King James Version)   “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Colossians 1: 21   “This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions.”

1
On the Cross, it does NOT say Jesus wept for us.  YET
through His Bible, we know His heart:  Jesus truly loves us.

Jesus said "Love your enemies" and He surely showed us how.
He died for you and me on that cross while we were enemies of God.
Colossians 1: 21.... Colossians 1: 21.

2
Jesus wept for Jerusalem, love like a mother hen. He
cried out that He yearned to gather His enemies under His wings, Luke 13.
God's Word  says you're His enemies if your focus is this life.
He wants you to live more than these few years,
wants your eternal life with God.
James 1 verse 21..... James 1 verse 21.

3
While you were God's enemy, Jesus died for you.  He's
loved you despite your faults, your sins:  Colossians 1: 21, He still loves you!
Through Jesus, God has reconciled all us to Him if we come.
He weeps for those who see God in Nature,
but choose  NOT  to glorify our  God!

Romans 1:21...... Romans 1:21.

CHORUS
Minds set on earthly things create GOD's enemies.
Philippians 3: verse 18 and 19.... yet
Jesus loves and weeps for God's enemies and
calls you and me to weep for our enemies,  and for
those who don't yet see God's love.......

SPOKEN AT END:       Colossians 1: 19-23a New Living Translation:

For God in all His fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself.  He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. This includes you who were once far away from God. You were His enemies, separated from Him by your evil thoughts and actions.  Yet now He has reconciled you to Himself through the death of Christ in His physical body.  As a result, He has brought you into His own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault.  But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it.”

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
SUPPORTING SCRIPTURES

James 1: 21, New Living Translation:  “So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.”

Romans 1: 20 - 21, New King James Version
20  “For since the creation of the world His invisible [attributes] are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,  21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify [Him] as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools.... “

Jesus set the stage for Christ-followers, before He showed the extreme example in His own death to give His enemies a way to be saved from hell:  We read His words in Luke 6:27, "But I say to you who hear:  Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,….”

Luke 6:35 contains AMAZING words for our LORD God:  "But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He [GOD]  is kind to the unthankful and evil.

Jesus says at the end of  Luke 13 such words of sorrow that the scriptures do not have to say that He literally wept:   "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God's messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn't let Me”    [verse 34].

In Philippians 3:18 and 19b New Living Translation,  Paul provides an example for us, that you should weep for your enemies who will endure eternal hell if they don’t realize God’s Truth before they die: “

I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes,
that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies
of the cross of Christ…   who set their minds on earthly things..”

THIS SONG IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK.
THIS IS A LULLABY.

A COMFORTING,   CALLING,    LULLABY
                      FROM GOD...   TO YOU.

Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:
YES.  In case you were wondering, the idea for the song came after I happened to see a commercial for a movie with the line that begins this song.  God can use anything to inspire us with parables about His Deep Love:)

This was one of my earliest songs,  written ten months after God's first song gift to me of "Above My Sorrow Sea."  And,  like that one -- God gave me the ideas for the music as well as the lyrics within hours.

And -- like for many songs,  I deliberately threw in some *really* unexpected melody notes for the drama and to make the song "different".  Another idea from God's Creative Spirit, I do believe.

Dedicated to God 14 January 2009

LYRICS
1
VERSES 1 and 2.        A  PRAYER FROM GOD TO YOU:
I know what you did last summer.  I know what you did last fall.
I know what you did just last week.  And I love you DESPITE it all.
I saw when you hurt that person.  I heard all those words you said.
I feel all the pain you cause others AND YOURSELF, and I love you DESPITE it all.

CHORUS
Why is it so hard for you to understand,
I HATE when you think ways that I never planned.
I HATE all the times I've called, but you just ran.
I HATE your mean words said to others AND you.
I HATE all the self-centered hurts that you do.
    BUT
still I will NEVER hate you.
I LOVE you despite all you do and say.
I LOVE you and yearn for the day.....
you believe.... my Promise:
        I LOVE YOU DESPITE.

VERSES 3 and 4.        God's prayer to you continues:

I know when you try and give up.

I know when you don't do your best.
I know all you think you can hide from your God,  Still I
love you just like    the rest.
I know why you're scared  you'll fail Me.
I know why you're scared you'll fail you.
Still I'll love you through ALL you do,

ALL you say,
ALL your
life, I promise I'll be true   to you.         --GOD

CHORUS             <summary from above>
Why is it so hard for you to understand,...   BUT still I will NEVER hate you.
I LOVE you despite all you do and say. I LOVE you and yearn for the day.....
you believe.... my Promise:          I LOVE YOU DESPITE.   [signed,  GOD]

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
"If we believe not,  [yet]  he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself."
"If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself."
"if we are not stedfast, he remaineth stedfast; to deny himself he is not able."

Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
Lyrics were sketched out in minutes.  Including time researching scriptures.    I needed an extra song to fill some of my assigned studio time that evening,
and the LORD God gave me the music.... and tracks in my home studio,  in less than
an hour.  As always:   This is His song.

Dedicated to Protector LORD God, 17 March 2013

LYRICS
1
By Your grace, LORD, help me fight each temptation, each dark blot.
You have called me to be holy in my everyday conduct.
Help me obey Your First Peter 1: 15 call to me.
2
By Your power, help me fight each temptation, oh, LORD God.
You have called me to LIVE holy, self-controlled, perseverance.
Help me obey Your  Second Peter list of how I should live.
3
“I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST Who strengthens me.”
    Philippians 4:13.
God is faithful, won't let me  be tempted beyond what He knows I
can easily resist when I simply ask His help in this.

CHORUS
By Your Grace, LORD, help me follow Christ in all my ways.  In this moment I choose freely-- I ask Your help... even if my feelings change.

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
God's promise to us through Paul's writings, 1 Corinthians 10:13's long verse:
“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God [is] faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear [it].”

God through FIRST PETER 1:  13 - 19   New Living Translation:
So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.  So you must live as God's obedient children. Don't slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn't know any better then.  But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.  For the Scriptures say, "You must be holy because I am holy."
And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time as "foreigners in the land."  For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver.  It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.“

WHEN You Return (Luke 22), by DianaDee Osborne

Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:  (There isn't much to the song story for the music:
God gave me the idea, it was quickly written and recorded at the studio within a couple of weeks.  Assuredly God's gift to you.... I just developed the ideas.)

I have often found so much comfort in John 17:20....
Isn't it AMAZING --  Jesus prayed for YOU and ME,   in the 21st century!
Jesus's prayers are not constricted by time... so He STILL prays for you and me!   I have often found so much comfort in Luke 22: 32......
Isn't it AMAZING -- Jesus knew that one of His best friends was going to betray him.
Not just once but three major-event times. And of course in other times, just as we all sin.  Yet Jesus still loved Peter.  Jesus still prayed for Peter.  Jesus gave Peter the words that MUST have given Peter much hope as he despaired over what he did to Jesus --
    “WHEN you return.......”

Peter must have so often fought off despair at his sins by remembering that (1) Jesus prayed for him and (2) Jesus Himself indicated that Peter WOULD turn back even after hurting Jesus so much.  (3)  Jesus reminded Peter that Satan is a REAL person, like the personhood of God-a-person, who is an enemy trying to destroy.  Later, Peter would write words that assuredly came from these words of Jesus -- First Peter 5: 8,
“Be sober, be VIGILANT; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”   A person... not a “representation of evil” as many Christ-claiming church-type groups are starting to say is the “modern interpretation.”
NOTICE THAT JESUS HIMSELF SAID SATAN IS REAL.
Luke 22:31. John 8:44 references Genesis. Luke 10:18 goes earlier! Matt 24:38- Flood was real.
DO NOT BELIEVE PREACHERS JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE PREACHERS  IF THEY SAY THAT early chapters of GENESIS IS A MYTH !!!!!
That sentence says that Jesus (who spoke of the flood and of Sodom also) was lying.
==================================================================

“WHEN you return.....”   Words of hope for us, after the darkness of Romans 7's reality -- We WILL sin against God.  Yet Jesus prayed for us.  We can choose, like Peter, to ask forgiveness, to ask the Holy Spirit's power to fight sins (Ephesians 6:10- to end), and to keep going knowing Jesus answers our prayers (Ephesians 3:20-21).

“WHEN you return....”  Jesus gave Peter a MISSION with encouraging words:
“WHEN you have returned, STRENGTHEN  YOUR  BRETHREN.”
a mission for us all.
WHEN we simply, humbly pray for forgiveness... and return.
And Peter DID and STILL DOES.  His letters...First Peter 5:8...continue to strengthen us.

Part 2 based on “My Jesus, As Thou Wilt” by B. Schmolck 1672-1737 (Public Domain)
Dedicated to Life-Giving Jesus, 15 January 2012

LYRICS
1
1
"WHEN you turn... WHEN you turn....
WHEN you return to Me,"
Jesus's Word    to Peter... HOPE for
you  --  and  for me --  in Luke 22:32,   and John 17: 20.
2
"I have prayed  FOR you,"   Jesus said.
Satan wants to sift you,  but   I have prayed for you,
Jesus said, not just to Peter.  There's HOPE for
you and me --  in Luke 22:32, and John 17: 20.

3
There is HOPE.   There is comfort.
Satan wants to TEMPT us,  YET   "I have prayed for you,"

Jesus said, not just   to Peter.   There's HOPE for
you and me   in Luke 22:32, and John 17: 20.

4
"You have a purpose.  WHEN you turn......
WHEN you return to Me, encourage others,"
Jesus said, not just to Peter.  There's HOPE for
you and me in Luke 22:32, and John 17: 20.

HYMN PRAYER
My Jesus, as You will,  Oh
may Your will become mine!
Into Your hands of Love,  I
SHALL my everything resign.  Through
joys or temptations, lead me, for I'm Your Own.  And
help me always say,
"My LORD, Your will be done!"

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
Romans 7:    We keep sinning.
John 17:20    Jesus keeps praying for us  (“those who WILL believe in Me”)
Romans 7:    We keep praying for help to fight our sins.... and
Romans 8:    We keep turning back to Jesus, With His Help.

Martha Marriage Prayers, by DianaDee Osborne

Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
I'm ashamed to say that this humor song was not inspired by a humor moment.

But in retrospect, it IS funny:  It came to mind the moment when I had just finished praying what is the woman's part in Verse 2.  A  why-won't-he-just-take-out-the-trash prayer.  The instant my thought-prayer ended, this story in Luke 10:40 came to mind, and I really did laugh and laugh at both my silliness and at God's instant answer to my prayer.... which you may note was NOT to get my hubby to take out the trash!

Martha was focused on having a perfect house... a type of pridefulness. Having a neat home and a great party are not bad... they can bring much joy!  But sometimes we, like Martha, find our value in showing other people how good we are at whatever.  Sometimes we, perhaps like Martha, rather enjoy the martyrdom of being able to whine at all the hard work we're doing while other people are lazy (by our definition of “lazy”).

More than anything, God yearns for a RELATIONSHIP with each of us.... and relationships require time together.  Psalm 46:10 -- “Be STILL and know that I am God.”
God created us from the beginning with a plan that we have a relationship with our marriage partner.

May this song bring your hearts laughter
as you see some of your silliness reflected in the verses...
and may this song bring your hearts together with each other and with your God as He yearns for you to be.    --ddo

Dedicated to our Holy Friend, God, 29 May 2010

LYRICS
God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
In Luke 10:40, Jesus was teaching in the home of 2 sisters:  “Jesus was teaching and Mary was listening.
“But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.“   [KJV]

Martha was focused on perfection,    a type of pridefulness.
But more than ANYTHING, God yearns for a
RELATIONSHIP with us,
and relationships require time.
Psalm 46:10:  God says,
“BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.”

1
HER:
“God, there is so much to do and he's just watching TV.
Lord, tell him men must help their wives.”
HIM:
God, You know I just need to relax.  Why can't your woman see this?
Please make her see this fact.
NARRATOR:
Martha prayers.... “Work - work”  prayers.....
God made us for relationship with our marriage partner -- YEAH!

2
HER:

Oh, God, he's just so lazy, he won't do what I need.
Let him know he must help me.
HIM:
God, Your woman's selfish and won't do her tasks.
Make her stop whining and nagging at me.
NARRATOR:
Martha prayers.... “Work - work”  prayers.....
God made us for relationship with our marriage partner -- YEAH!

3
NARRATOR:

Let us ask ourselves, are we following Christ, or are we
just using Jesus's name we claim?
John 15 verse 14 tells us acts are needed to obey Jesus
and to be His friend.... But God hates
Martha prayers.... “Work - work”  prayers.....
God made us for relationship with    God,    Holy Spirit  --- YEAH!!

4
NARRATOR:

Mary stopped all working just to spend time with Jesus,
and we must decide to do the same.
Luke 10 verse 41,  Jesus answered Martha's prayer by saying
she should stop and listen to Him.  For God hates
busy  prayers.... “Work - work”  prayers.....
God made us for relationship with    our Savior Jesus--    YEAH!      YEAH!  YEAH!
