Tell It to Jesus Who Hears, by DianaDee Osborne

TELL  IT  TO  JESUS,  WHO  HEARS
ALBUM:      Amazing Peace 'n' Passion
Song location  http://DianaDeeOsborneSongs.com/Songs-2008-2012.php

Song Story:  This old hymn has been especially meaning-filled to me.  After a week when I'd been singing it a lot, I prayed for a way to help others also rejoice in its words, in a personalized, 21st century  version.  This is God's truth for so many people --- that People Have Hurt Us.
A natural self-defense response is to shut up  and  shut out.
How painful it must be to our loving God --  to our brother and Friend, Jesus ---  when we not only quit sharing our true thoughts with people,
but are afraid to share our thoughts with  Him.
Especially after the true love, true friendship Jesus has shown to us people despite our many personal flaws.
First John 4:10 -- God knows your thoughts anyway.  And STILL loves you.
Dedicated to our Loving Jesus, who asks to be your Friend (John 14 and 15 especially),
3 September 2009

LYRICS
Verses based on original lyrics of the old hymn by
J.E.Rankin and melody by E.S. Lorenz (Public Domain, CCLI 93755)
1
Are you weary,  are you heavy hearted?
Tell it to Jesus,  tell it to Jesus.
Are you grieving over joys departed?  Tell it to Jesus  Who hears

CHORUS
ALL OUR DESPERATE PRAYERS,
ALL OUR CRIES OF DESPAIR,
ALL OUR SORROWS we share with NO one, afraid to bare
all our Real unspoken thoughts.... and fears.

2
Do you fear the gathering clouds of sorrow?
Tell it to Jesus,  tell it to Jesus.
Are you anxious,  "What shall be tomorrow?"

Tell it to Jesus Who hears        > CHORUS above

3
Are you troubled at the thought of dying?
Tell it to Jesus,  tell it to Jesus.
For Christ's coming Kingdom, are you sighing? Tell it to Jesus Who hears.....
ALL OUR DESPERATE PRAYERS,
ALL OUR CRIES OF DESPAIR,
ALL OUR SORROWS we share with NO one, afraid to bare
all our Real unspoken thoughts.... and fears.

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“But there is a Friend  who  sticks closer than a brother.”  --  Proverbs 18:24
“In our troubles we expect comfort and relief from our relations, but sometimes there is a friend, that is nothing akin to us, the bonds of whose esteem and love prove stronger than those of nature, and, when it comes to the trial, will do more for us than a brother will. Christ is a friend to all believers that sticks closer than a brother.”

If Jesus Was Just, by DianaDee Osborne

IF  JESUS  WAS  JUST
ALBUM:      Amazing LORD 'n' Logic
Song location  http://DianaDeeOsborneSongs.com/Songs-2008-2012.php
Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:   I sat down.  I started playing.  I have no earthly idea how I came up with this music other than that I had decided that I wanted "heavy" music for these lyrics that I had "just written as the words came to my mind."  I have no human idea;  it's God.

Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:   For anyone who is wondering:  Yes, I did deliberately choose a song title that might cause some people to check out the song, thinking that Jesus's righteous justice was being questioned in the song.  Jesus spoke to His disciples about being strategic in their witnessing and living for Him:       Jesus tells us through Matthew 10:16,  “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves.  Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”

It's great to serve our LORD developing His songs for His worshipers... but more than that, my prayers from the very beginning, 3 years before God began answering prayers that were mere hopes knowing how unworthy I was (am) of such an honor of His songs, was this:  To reach God's Word, as revealed in His holy bible,   to people who are SEEKING Him still,   who are openly exploring Truth ------ just as good scientists seek truth in nature openly, without contaminating their experiments with pre-determined expectations of the outcome.

If you do not yet realize the joy of knowing Jesus really is NOT just a man:  May you find the joy and peace you seek as you continue to openly seek.  For Jesus never, EVER  condemned the person who kept seeking
before finding.

Dedicated to God-Savior-Jesus, 8 January 2012

LYRICS
1
IF JESUS WAS REALLY JUST SOME NICE MAN,
then how did He heal so many blind, sick, scared and lame?  And
what of God's   John Chapter 20: 31,   of great signs that Jesus is THE
Christ, as He said, rising up from death on a cross instead of us who
deserve death for sins.  It does make sense that
we cannot STOP needing God's forgiveness for sins,
    cannot be righteous without Him.

READING AFTER VERSE 1:    MARK 6: 2a
And when the Sabbath had come, Jesus began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, "Where did this Man get  these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands?

2

IF JESUS WAS REALLY JUST SOME NICE MAN,
then how did He RAISE up from the dead so many humans? And
how did 500 men see Jesus alive after He died on that Cross?
God's Son Alive!  See the end of First Corinthians, Jesus came to save
ALL who repent for sins.  Romans 5  LIFE:   For
we cannot STOP needing God's forgiveness for sins,
    cannot be righteous without Him.

READING AFTER VERSE 2:    Acts 14:2
Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

3
IF JESUS WAS REALLY JUST SOME HUMAN,
If Jesus Christ was  NOT   really GOD REDEEMING US, then
Jesus lied and deceived all of us with the cruelest hoax of all,
crushing our HOPE, but the TRUTH is His death on a Cross CAN save us
from HELL for our sins. One look at us and it makes sense:   For
we cannot STOP needing God's forgiveness for sins,
    cannot be righteous without Him.

READING AFTER VERSE 3:    Now Jesus could do NO mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a FEW sick people and healed them.  And He marveled because of their unbelief...”

4
IF JESUS WAS REALLY JUST SOME HUMAN,
then you and I most truly will die in our sins.  You've
seen all the evidence in YOUR life:  You just CAN'T stop sinning, and you
can't be forgiven without praying Romans 10, verse 9:   Name Jesus YOUR Lord.
No, He's NOT just “some man.”  You can escape HELL by praying:
You  cannot STOP needing God's forgiveness for sins,
    cannot be righteous without Him.

READING AFTER VERSE 4:    John 20: 29 to 31:  Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book;  but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
Jesus tells us through Matthew 10:16,  “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves.  Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”
In the next 2 verses, Jesus tells how you will be persecuted for speaking God's Word.  Then in Matthew 10:19 and 20, He gives the Greatest of Hope for those of us who pray for James 1:5 wisdom but still are aware of how poorly we often think and speak:
“Do not worry about how or what you should speak.  For it will be GIVEN to you in that hour, what you should speak:  For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.”
Sadly,  people who say Jesus was a great man do not have the HOPE of eternal life with Him, for there is NO forgiveness for our sins if Jesus did not pay the penalty for them.  Only Jesus is the perfect sacrifice, as God explains to us through Romans 5 through 9.  In the words of Jesus in Matthew 10: 31 through 33 plus 38  to 39:
“Do NOT FEAR, therefore; you are of more value than MANY sparrows.  Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.  BUT -- whoever DENIES Me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven... He who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.  He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”

Holy Spirit Dictionary, by DianaDee Osborne

HOLY  SPIRIT  DICTIONARY
ALBUM:      Amazing Big God 'n' Big words
Song location  http://DianaDeeOsborneSongs.com/Songs-2008-2012.php
Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:   The simple melody seems like it should be boring -- yet somehow, God-how, it is not.  The simplicity just better reflects the loving praise for our LORD God.

Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:
When I "retired" as  library director to raise my children, John Hunter made the following inscription in the dictionary that the Library Board gave to me:
"There aren't enough words in this book to speak all our thanks to you."
I always thought that was cool.
I've often remembered it when trying to tell God "Thank You."
We truly need His Holy Spirit to pray our thanks to Him -- Romans 8:26!
Dedicated to our INDESCRIBABLE God, 30 June 2010

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered._
--Romans 8:26
LYRICS
1
I love You _ more than my human words can say.
To speak love _ as I want, I'd
need Your Holy Spirit dictionary!
God, give me Your words to PRAY!

You deserve more than I can every say!
Romans 8: 26 -- Help me to pray!
2

I PRAISE You _ more than my human words can say.
To praise You as I want, I'd
need Your Holy Spirit dictionary!
God, give me Your words to PRAISE!

You deserve more than I can every say!
Romans 8: 26 -- Help me to pray!

3

I worship You  more than my human words can say.
To worship as You deserve, I'd
need Your Holy Spirit dictionary!
God, give me Your words to PRAY!

You deserve more than I can every say!
Romans 8: 26 -- Help me to pray!

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power.  For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” “ ... Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
-- Revelation 4:11 and   5: 12   New KJV

No Fear Here, by DianaDee Osborne

NO  FEAR  HERE
ALBUM:      Amazing LORD  'n' Life
Song location  http://DianaDeeOsborneSongs.com/Songs-2008-2012.php
Song Story:
THE  MUSIC:   I just wrote this in minutes, for the lyrics and basic music.  But the music was boring.  So this was one of the first songs where I began to layer in a lot of orchestra music tracks.... with the Holy Spirit's creative leading!
Dedicated to our God, 19 September 2010

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.  In ALL your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths..”  --  Proverbs 3: 5,6

John 14: 27,   JESUS speaking as God incarnate,  as human among us
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

LYRICS
VERSE 1
The opposite of faith is NOT doubt.
The opposite of faith is FEAR.
The very first sin, shown in Genesis 3, was to        FEAR that God lies to us.... was to not believe God's WORD.

VERSE 2
The opposite of fear MIGHT be faith, but
only if that faith is in God.
Second Timothy One: verse 7 declares:       God HAS NOT given us fear... so then do we think God lied?

VERSE 3
Christ Jesus said in John 8: 44
that Satan is the father of lies, and that
he speaks to us:  WHO will you believe?
God's Bible word or thoughts you hear?       Titus 1:  verse 2,  GOD won't lie!

VERSE 4
Repeatedly God says “DO NOT FEAR!”
Repeatedly God says “I LOVE YOU!”
Jesus died to save you:  Who
will you believe?  God's Bible Word or your feelings?
Have no fear!  Trust in God's love!

SPOKEN:
These are among the most comforting words IN God's Bible Word,
Spoken by Jesus as God among us,  to each of us:
Luke 12: 7      “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Do  not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
John 14:1,     “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God*; trust also in Me.”
John 14: 27:  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,     give I unto you.

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Through Paul, God has echoed this message in Romans 8:15:
“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the

Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, 'Abba, Father'."  (DADDY!)

SAID WHAT ??? (Christian Jazz), by DianaDee Osborne

SAID  WHAT ???   (Christian Jazz)
ALBUM:      Amazing HOPE 'n' Humor
Song location  http://DianaDeeOsborneSongs.com/Songs-2008-2012.php
Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:   I
The music just came into my head as I was driving early one morning.
To be honest, when I first had the idea, I sorta prayed to God, “Say what?”
And that sorta helped me onto the path of keeping that question concept as the basis for this weird song.
One of my fervent prayers is that LORD God will give me so many different songs with so many different music styles and moods that logical-thinking people will see the evidence that it HAS to be God guiding me to have these song ideas... I'm sure no type of genius.    Well, this one is different, to be sure.  At least, it's not like anything I've every heard.  But I like 'weird.'   Lots of colors and shades in God's creative world!

Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:   I really had to struggle to write out the music for this song.  The chords don't fit normal music theory.... this is way beyond anything I'd think up without the Holy Spirit's Creator help!
When I first wrote the song,  I had just sat at the computer controller and started playing this song.  So later I literally had to study the printed score to figure out what chords I was playing in order to record them for other musicians who may want to rejoice with God using this song.
The usual phrase is for people to say “I have no idea where this idea came from.”  But of course, we know God the Creator answers prayers for inspiration... and sometimes with weird songs like this!
The QUESTIONS vocal lines were written in minutes, as were the melody and chords.  Jazz style is beyond my natural skills... timing has always been my weakness, and God really had to help me write the music sheet for this shuffle song.
But the words for the ANSWER vocal lines took quite a lot of  prayers for wisdom (James 1:5) and Bible research.... Jesus said so many wonderful Words from God that it was hard to keep this song at only 4 verses!
Dedicated to our Lord Jesus Who said Amazing Things!  6 September 2010

LYRICS

3
Jesus said WHAT?
Don't let your heart be troubled -- Believe in God and in Me.
 Jesus did WHAT??
Went to prepare a place in Heaven for you and me.
Jesus did  NOT!

Jesus   DID  all He promised:  Miracle things.

-- First Corinthians, Chapter 15 -- check it out!  (NASB link)

4
 Jesus said WHAT?
“Go tell the World about Me.” -- Matthew 28:10.
 Jesus did WHAT??
Sent you His Spirit to bring God's Power -- John 14.   (NASB link)

 Jesus did  NOT!
...leave us alone as orphans -- John 14 again.  (New Living Translation link)

Jesus DID  .... all He promised:
                    Miracle things.
                  And He still does --

Song location  http://DianaDeeosborneSongs.com/NEW-Songs.php
Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
The familiar story:  I just sat at the home studio and played with loops &  created 3 different melodies for the 3 movements to fit the mood.... and this music “just  came out” within 3 hours--- all tracks.  The Holy Spirit's gifting, I  confidently declare.
Dedicated to The One that the Church SHOULD be reflecting (2nd Corinthians 3:18):
Jesus God's Son and true Head of the Church (not people), 21 July  2012

LYRICS
1
Jonah slept while blasting storm  tossed.
Jonah slept on the ship to Tarshish.
Jonah slept while the crew feared loss of ALL their lives.
Jonah slept while the men all cried out in fear, to false gods.
Jonah slept while they realized:  Jonah's God might save LIFE.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN, SLEEPER?!”  they cried.
“WAKE UP,   PRAY FOR US TO YOUR GOD!

CHORUS
WAKE, O SLEEPING  CHURCH OF GOD!

Ephesians 5:  14.
Like Jonah, how CAN we sleep?

Without Jesus, people perish!
WAKE, O SLEEPING  CHURCH OF GOD!

Ephesians 3:  20.
Pray together for God's power, THEN boldly preach salvation!

2
Jonah slept while Life's storm tossed,
in bed while perishing people cried.
Like Jonah --- do WE  sleep behind walls while
people who don't know Jesus die?
Jesus said that JONAH WAS REAL ......
    Matthew 12:   39,  on.

How can The Church let people die
while  we stay behind church walls?
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN, SLEEPER  CHURCH ?!”   they cry!
“WAKE UP,  TEACH  US  HOW   TO FIND GOD!”

CHORUS
WAKE, O SLEEPING  CHURCH OF GOD!

Ephesians 5:  14.
Like Jonah, how CAN we sleep?

Without Jesus, people perish!
WAKE, O SLEEPING  CHURCH OF GOD!

Ephesians 3:  20.
Pray together for God's power,

THEN boldly preach salvation!

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
EPHESIANS 5: 14, 16:  Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light."..."redeeming the time, because the days are evil..."
JESUS IN JOHN 4:35  CONCERNING CALL TO THE CHURCH TO SHARE GOD'S NEWS:
"Do you not say, 'There are still four months and [then] comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

Psalm 116 Paying God, by DianaDee Osborne

PSALM  116  PAYING GOD
ALBUM:      Amazing Psalms 'n' Promises

Song location  http://DianaDeeosborneSongs.com/NEW-Songs.php
Song Story:
When I returned from band practice at 8:30 PM,  this song did not exist.  Ariel had typed the basic framework of the psalm lyrics into a file, but no music existed.  I came home, tired, and started playing “just something” on the keyboard, recording as I went (see my May 5th,  2012 blog at http://dianadeegarageband.blogspot.com named  “Bad Moods To Great Songs”)
I loved the “instant music”.... that I KNOW came from Creator God's inspiration!
By midnight  -- in 3 hours --  this entire song was complete.
I just added flute and organ the next morning and laid the vocal tracks at the next scheduled studio recording session.
Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:
God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“I will fulfill my vows to you, O God, and will offer a sacrifice of thanks for Your help.”
 -- Psalm 56: 12,   New Living Translation. Dedicated to Righteous God, 19 Feb & 4 June 2012
LYRICS
1
I love the LORD because He heard my prayers and heard my voice...
He has inclined his ear to hear... me and therefore I shall
call on LORD God while I live,  trust our LORD God while I live.
The pains of death surround me, and the pangs of hell reach for me.
Trouble and Sorrow found me, so I called the LORD God's Name.
Deliver my soul, O LORD.   Deliver me, I implore.
Psalm One Hundred Sixteen.... verses  1 through  4.
2
Gracious is the LORD God and righteous is the LORD of All.
Our God is merciful, preserves the simple who just call.
When life brought me down and down,

the LORD rescued me --- me!
My soul,  take your rest knowing God has done bountifully.
God delivered my soul from death and falling.  God saved me!
I live and walk with You, LORD.  I believe and thus I spoke.
Psalm One Hundred Sixteen.... verses 5  through  10.

   CHORUSes
C-1

What then shall I  PAY to the LORD for ALL He's done for me.... for me?
I'll accept His salvation.  I'll call upon the LORD's Name.
I'll serve God just as I vowed. I'll  render me....render me.
Psalm 116,    verses 12 and on.
C-2
What then shall I  PAY to the LORD for ALL He's done for me.... for me?
I'll serve God just as I vowed.   All people will see my love.
I shall praise and thank aloud

God in His house... in God's Church.
Psalm 116,    verses 12 and on.

Amazing Grace Doxology (Thanksgiving Day), by DianaDee Osborne

AMAZING  GRACE  DOXOLOGY

ALBUM:      Amazing Grace 'n' Tears
Song location  http://DianaDeeosborneSongs.com/NEW-Songs.php
Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
This song was "accidentally" -- in a God-led-way  -- designed as a fun ROUND for congregations, youth groups, and more.  One evening after I'd tuned my guitar for church band practice and had finished running through difficult passages, I still had time before others came....
so I started “just playing” chord progressions.  As I played these, the traditional words to the Doxology came to mind along with this new melody.
And then somehow -- God-how -- I realized first that Amazing Grace could be sung to this new song AND it could be sung WITH  the Doxology. Praising God From Whom All Blessings Flow--including Wonderful new songs!  God and I then  created two separate melodies for Amazing Grace verses. Another wow from Creator God!

Song Story:  THE  LYRICS (for a 3-section choir or congregation):
All lyrics are from ancient hymns that are public domain.  I kept the original melody for Amazing Grace but created a new counter-melody for the ancient praise DOXOLOGY with my added words at the end, "Hallelujah!  We love and praise You God!" Dedicated to THE God we worship, 6 May 2012
LYRICS
PART 1  -  Unison  -- continues throughout song:

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow, praise
Him, all creatures here below,  praise
Father, Son and Holy Ghost!  Hallelujah!  We
love and praise You God!

PART 2  -  lower voices begin verse 1 below, as a round with Part 1
1   ---  THIS VERSE IS SUNG TWICE:
Amazing grace!  How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,   was blind, but now I see.

2
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,  and grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear   the hour I first believed.

3
Through many dangers,  toils, and snares,

I have already come;
‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,

and grace will lead me home.
4
The Lord has promised good to me.  His Word, my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be  as long as life endures.

5
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,

and mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,

a life of joy and peace.
6
When we’ve been there 10,000 years,  bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise

       than when we’d first begun!

PART 3  -    higher voices  -- Begin Verse 1 after Part 2 has sung it once.

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
"And  of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.  For the law was given through Moses, [but] grace and truth came through Jesus Christ" -- John 1: 16-17 new KJV

You Are Never Alone, by DianaDee Osborne

YOU  ARE  NEVER  ALONE
ALBUM:      Amazing Faith 'n' Freedom
Song location  http://DianaDeeOsborneSongs.com/NEW-Songs.php
Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
With God's guidance, "my" song NEVER ALONE was one of the first dozen song giftings from Him back in 2008.  The words had been filling my thoughts four years later as I drove 14 hours -- alone -- to my daughter's home.  I spent over a week with her, and wrote a lot of music on my guitar sitting on her patio overlooking a distant mountain beyond the fields....
And one day while I was "testing out" a new Christmas song on her piano, I just suddenly started playing what became the new introduction to NEVER ALONE,  written from the viewpoint of so many of the high school and college age youth that I dearly loved teaching.  And, I'll admit, from some personal memories....
AND HERE  is why Verse 5's scripture reference "Matthew 28, last verse" is spoken instead of sung:
We REPEATEDLY repeatedly REPEATEDLY tried my singing it.  The music notes were EXACTLY the same as they were for the earlier verse.  But I absolutely could not get a good sound tone when I sang these words.  Suddenly in between takes I declared -- "I'm going to try something different."  And then I spoke the words-- and the first take was perfect, full of feeling.
I personally am convinced that God orchestrated my "failure" so that I could be sure that YOU know exactly where to find Jesus's promise that you are NEVER alone:
So you don't have to remember a verse number but can remember my inability to sing:
"Matthew 28, last verse".
Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:
As one of my 2011 songs, “Hope Through Dark Rain”,  reminds:
  Feelings can lie.  God can't.
That's just plain  Logic + Titus 1:2 + fact that  “liars” =
the last condemned sinners listed in Revelation (22:15).  And it's the first sin recorded:  When Satan lied to Eve saying that GOD  lied.

I thought she really liked me.
      I thought they respected me.
I thought I really fit in...........  and then .............

2
I don't know what to do.

I liked them ------ What do I choose?
Should I do what they will like......  or do what's right?
3
I thought we could be friends.  I'm so LONELY.  When WILL this end?
    God's, I've reached my dead end.   I

         CAN'T STAND ONE MORE THING.

BRIDGE   (soft and sweet)

Then I heard in my head   Words of peace and comfort.
Then I heard in my head   Words of peace and comfort.

A  LULLABY  to YOU from  LORD  GOD:
4
You are never alone.   You are never “just one.”
God is always with you --- Father,  Spirit,  Son.

Sometimes you may tiredly wonder if God's even there.  You
SEE no god, you HEAR no voice,

         you FEEL no  presence there.
Just  cry out,
“Help me.  I'm so lonely.  Do I pray to just AIR?”

5
Jesus promised firmly,  “Lo, I'm with you always,
to the end of the earth.”    [SPOKEN]  Matthew 28:  last verse.
Even when you let you wonder if God's really there,

just believe God Who promises, Lo, I am always here.”
Just trust God when He says He loves you
     and  that He really cares.
6
Sometimes I feel lonely.  But my feelings can lie.
Titus 1: in verse 2:    “God Can NEVER  lie.”
Even when your feelings lie and ask if God is there,

you choose to trust Almighty God.  He SHALL
hear humble prayers.  Hebrews 13:  5.....
God will NEVER forsake you.....

END     [new words based upon    Isaac Watt's and William Croft's
“O God, Our Help in Ages Past”  (Public Domain, CCLI #4315]

7
Before the hills in order stood,  or
    Earth received her frame,
From everlasting, God WAS God, and
            knew and loved your  name.

8
When you feel lonely, sad, or scared, just
    pray,     for God loves you.
His James 4:8  Word promises -------

when  you call,  He's with you.

YOU ARE   NEVER  ALONE   .....
NO MATTER HOW YOU  FEEL.

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“Lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age. ”
-- JESUS, in Matthew 28:20
“Don't love money; be satisfied with what you have. For

God Before All, by DianaDee Osborne

GOD  BEFORE  ALL
ALBUM:      Amazing Power 'n' Prayers
Song location  http://DianaDeeosborneSongs.com/NEW-Songs.php
Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
I  kept changing the melody line for this song because it was so easy and pretty that I was afraid that it was some Broadway song that I'd tucked into my memory and then forgotten.... I don't think any of the early drafts were "someone else's song" but I figured I should make changes just in case!
Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:
Yes, I know the words are “repetitive...”  It says God's Name a LOT.
But too often, even in churches, we start putting our own feelings first in the name of serving God.   Check out the church member described in Third John 1: 8-10, Diotrephes.  This song is personally heartbreaking to me... I wrote the foundation melody and wording at the altar in 5 minutes.... and that brought me much joy from our LORD.
Yet even 16 months later when I polished the music and recorded the song, it brought to my heart much sorrow to remember that the song had been written almost the last time I was able to pray at a  specific church altar, after many years there, a few days before I finally submitted in my conviction that God was calling me to finally leave for ever....
YET -- God truly  IS  above all things -- even our comfort in “old” churches, even our habits and our people relationships....Sometimes -- no, OFTEN -- God calls us to leave our familiar places and TRUST Him  to Shepherd us to different pastures to worship Him,  to serve Him,  to love Him  -- Before  All.
Dedicated to God, Our Everything, 15 January 2011.
Re-dedicated to my God Above All.. All... 20 May 2012

LYRICS
1
God, before “it All,”   You're in my heart.
God, before anything:  You are LORD!
God, before “it All,”  You, LORD are First!
God, before my own thoughts --- You're The One LORD.

 CHORUS
Mark, Chapter 12:  29 and 30 tell, once
more that You're LORD God of All,  before all.
Deuteronomy 6, verse 5 says the same:  You
ONLY are LORD God of All,  before all.

2
I do love You, God, with all my heart.
God, I put You first...... You are LORD!
God, before “it All,”  I put You first.
God, before my feelings --- You're The One LORD.
  >> CHORUS

3
WE, Your Church, love You, with all our hearts.
God,  we put You first...... You are LORD!
God, before “it All,”  we put You first.
God, before our own thoughts ---

You're The One LORD.                                                 >> CHORUS

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your strength.”  -- Deuteronomy 6:5  NKJV.

Jesus through Mark 12: 29 and 30  tells you:    'The first of all the commandments is:   'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.
And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with
all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.”

Psalm 53 Fools Becoming, by DianaDee Osborne

PSALM  53  FOOLS  BECOMING
ALBUM:      Amazing Psalms 'n' Promises

Song location  http://DianaDeeosborneSongs.com/NEW-Songs.php
Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
This is Another song idea where I just sat and recorded the melody phrase in my head, and then started repeating it with different positions and instruments.
This music amazes ME.... it is NOT “my skill.”   This isn't “my type of music.”  I never would have “thought up” this kind of music movement.   With confidence I assert yet again:
This is yet another evidence of God the Creator continuing to create.... eager to allow you and me... all who truly love and seek His Truth.....  to be part of His Kingdom  Building Program:)
Dedicated to THE Only Wise One, 28 April 2012
LYRICS
-- Psalm 53: 1a and 2, New Living Translation .... a Warning from God to you,  too.
1A   SPOKEN:   Psalm 53:1a.  “The fool  has said in his heart, 'There is no God.' ”

1B  (SUNG)
Only fools  say...  in their hearts,
“There's no God  ..... I'm  too smart to
        think   some God sees me.”

2A   SPOKEN:  Psalm 53:1b.  “There is  NONE  who does good.”

2B  (SUNG)
       God looks down  to
see who seeks Him.  Not one does.
All have turned away from God.

       All do evil things.
3A   SPOKEN:    Psalm 53:2,  “God looks down from heaven on the ENTIRE human race to see if anyone is truly wise, truly seeks God.”

3B  (SUNG - FAST and LOUD)
Terror will _ grip these people ----
     FEAR    like they've never known.
Evil people die forever,     God rejects them,  ev'ry one.....
promised He shall scatter their bones.....

4   SPOKEN:    Psalm 53:3,   God asks, “Will those who do evil NEVER learn?”
People become fools, believing just their simple, human minds.
    Psalm 53   is God's warning,

He shall judge these  fools  in time ---
all who thought themselves   like  God.

5A  SPOKEN:    Psalm 53 ends with the joy that God will protect His people from those who foolishly don't believe God even exists.
Verse 6,  “Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.”
Romans 11,   and 15: verse 12  reminds us that Jesus comes from the root of Jesse, and God has GRAFTED  into His people the Jews  all Gentiles who choose to believe in Christ Jesus as God's salvation promised in scriptures like Psalm 53.

5B  SUNG with EXCITEMENT!  (rock music)

God will come!   God will come!
God will restore His people.  And
they will shout with joy,  and rejoice.

God will protect His people!
Romans 15:12, God  KEPT  His promise

to send salvation out of Jesse's  root.
God gathers His scattered people,

God HAS brought His salvation....
Jesus Christ,   His Son.....  Romans [chapters]  3  &  9.
God rescues the wise who seek God!

                                            (echo:  ...who seek The LORD.)

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
"By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth."  -- Psalm 33:6.
PSALM 33:  12-on:   Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind;  from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth-- he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do..... But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.... May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you."

Clean Camp Faith, by DianaDee Osborne

CLEAN  CAMP  FAITH
ALBUM:      Amazing God 'n'  Camp   (HUMOR song)

Song location  http://DianaDeeosborneSongs.com/NEW-Songs.php
Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:
This was written on Day 1  of a 14-day Christian music festival tour.... written during a rest break while I was setting up camp alone.  And no, it actually is NOT  autobiographical, because
I've learned this lesson in the past years ---
whatever you unpack has to get re-packed up!
But I was having fun watching all the other campers decide that even primitive tent camping should have most of the comforts of home.... even old sofas, folding tables, food supplies for a month,  firewood for an evening campfire to end the summer's 100+ degrees days (every day)..... And quite often the skies rang with “WHERE IS THE _____?!” amid all their camp clutter.
I   DO   pack extra twine and tent pegs and a tarp.... and every year, I end up loaning out those to people who remembered  to bring the kitchen but forgot the camp essentials....
Song Story:  THE  MUSIC:
When a new set of music loops arrived in the mail, I eagerly loaded them onto my computer and started playing....  After all, it IS called  “PLAY  music” ---  not “WORK music”!  And I assuredly had fun playing.  I am very good on rhythm guitar, but my hands struggle to form lead guitar chords.... so the guitar loops folder was the first one I checked out,  and these are among the first 5 loops I even listened to.
So it seems to me that yet again, God's Holy Spirit was guiding me to find some pretty cool music for His songs... this is NOT “my style” of music skill even though I love this sound!  And I suspect that Claxton who plays pop bass for my songs that need it (I specialize in slide bass) will be disappointed if  he doesn't get to let loose with his funk bass skills on this one :)
Dedicated to our GOD Who's FIRST,   18 June 2012
LYRICS
1
Well, I packed up all the things I'd need,

plus then I packed up some more things
as I packed up for a full week alone in the wilderness camping.
Then, I thought to myself:

what if I need these other things in the wilderness?
Then I packed in some more....

and then, .... thought some more.
2
Well,  my care was stuffed, and then I had to unload,  and then to pitch camp.
But I packed so much that I never could find what I needed camping.
And I could not enjoy Nature as I hunted for my lost things in my campsite.
Then the week was gone and then I had to pack it BACK IN.

BRIDGE

More stuff....  more bills.....
more work to keep it all clean.
We need to ask God for James 1: 5 wisdom.
End  (TAG)
Each packed thing in your life will give you more work.
Each packed thing in your life

      will take time from God.
It's your choice in your life if you'll pack more stuff.
it's your choice in your life  if you'll give GOD time.

God's SUPPORTING WORDS:
“And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers... He will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? So don't worry about these things, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?'  These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.  Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously,
and He will give you everything you need.”
-- JESUS  said,  Jesus  STILL  says,
