Song Story:
This song suggests evidence that God has a sense of humor.  It was inspired along a hiking trail by an average-sized-body squirrel with an *enormous* tail !
It gives us joy to wonder at God's wonders...

And the greatest wonder of all is that God ACTUALLY  loves us 'no matter what' weird questions come to our minds.
And, sadly for God, is the wonder that He actually loves

even persons who scoff at any mention of God,
who won't try the scientific experiment of  seeking  'god' .
(See song SAFE EXPERIMENTS.)
Who never give themselves the experience of honestly, with a scientific curiosity and  mind open to unexpected results,
at least  try testing the many Bible promises that they'll find Him IF they seek.

Deuteronomy 4:29,   Jeremiah 29: 11-14,   Luke 11:9, and  Acts 17:27-28  NIV:
“...they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us, For in Him we live and move and have our being....” )

JESUS:   Seek and you WILL find.  Knock and the door WILL be opened to you....
                         Luke 11:9,    Matthew 7: 7

Dedicated to our Lord, 10 October 2009

LYRICS
1
Do squirrel tails just get bigger, the older that they be?
That is a silly question that, quite frankly intrigues me.
And do crickets ever wonder why the world is so noisy?
Bug World is loud. I'm not too proud to ask things so silly.
And what of buzzards?

Do they wonder why their flights cause frights?
Do owls and bats ever wonder that

                many creatures don't like nights?
2
And why are the mice in pet stores cute,
but the mouse in my house has fangs that are huge?

And why did God make mosquitoes when roaches could feed frogs and toads?
And have you ever wondered why that some dogs really slobber,
while other dogs keep their tongues in their mouths

where I think that they ought-er?
And why do cats always so want to be in a high place?
More exactly, when I'm lying down, why is that place on my face

3
Of all the questions in my head, the one that most stumps me
is     why I'm dearly loved by God through all eternity.
Even if I don't love Him.
Even if I don't believe in Him.
Even if I won't follow Him.
4
Of all the Answers I have found, the one that amazes me
is     found in Romans 5, verse 8 __
God All- Mighty demonstrates His  Love, DYING for me.
Verse 10:   While I was an enemy,
Jesus died to reconcile me  to God.
5
Isaiah Chapter 29,  God says,
'these people once more I'll astound with wonders.
But intelligence will vanish from arrogant ones.”
Verse 19:   “Humble people will rejoice,
and the needy will rejoice” ___ with God.

6
Of all the questions in OUR heads,
the one that should grieve us
is how we Christians know God's love and
    yet act so selfish...............
7
Of all the wonders in OUR HEARTS,

the one that should break us
is “How many persons have I turned
    away from God because...
                I've been so unloving.... while
                using Jesus' Name:   ................... 'Christian'?”

Supporting Scriptures:
“Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for forty years,
humbling you and testing you to prove your character, and
to find out whether or not you would really obey his commands...
He did it to teach you that people need more than bread for their life;
real life comes by feeding on every word of the Lord.”
