Song Story: THE MUSIC
I started playing some "anything" chords, looking for something "interesting." Somehow the idea came into my head (a "God how", I am convinced), I started thinking that the music sounded like a drama. I'd already written the lyrics, planning an "ordinary" song........ and then the idea came to ask my main studio producer's young children to perform this little play in front of a microphone. They "got it" right away despite all their stifled laughter!
THE LYRICS
My brother David and I used to have fun playing the “echo” game...
though we couldn't figure out why Mom and Dad thought we were really fighting,
since we never called each other names like D.J. and Nate do in the “opening act” of this song!
One day I was reflecting on the key verse for DiDoReflections (2 Corinthians 3:18). And thinking of all my own faults (cracks) and how I don't reflect God even though He promises through this verse and elsewhere to help us all to do so..
It suddenly dawned on me that God would be displeased to hear us really believing our wrong thoughts about how stupid we are to take so long to learn something..... or caring so much about our appearance. God's Holy Spirit Himself will help us to grow to reflect Him -- when we respectfully (and honestly) ask Him to. 2nd Corin. 3:18. Why do we believe junk put in our mind
by people or pictures or Satan sometimes?

Do not believe all the thoughts in your mind.
Laugh off any thoughts that conflict with God's Word.
Almighty God has power to keep mistakes out.
GOD LOVES YOU DESPITE all your cracks.
WHY DOES HE? God's perfect -- NO CRACKS !!
