BUT - how often do we KEEP reading what JESUS said?

**Jesus**  said that  Hell  **IS**   real and
some people WILL choose to refuse to believe in Him... and

        I'd recorded a 20-second melody “in my head” about a year earlier on my van voice recorder, and happened to listen when I came across it searching for a new sound. 
        I wasn't sure exactly where this song was going after the verses, so I wrote the interlude “as I went”. My choice of high happy melody notes had to be changed so that I could return to each verse without any break, to complete the sentences of JOY at how our LORD still saves a wretch like me (& you) from the title phrase “ALL OF MY TROUBLES.”

Song Story:  THE  LYRICS:   
      The lyrics were based on the melody- it just “seemed to say” this praise prayer.  
FOUR DAYS after I wrote this song, an 80-foot tree fell during a heavy snowstorm.
It hit BOTH of my vans... Not new but serviceable. Our 15 year old car wasn't hit!
Good timing of reassurance from the LORD!

Written during a prayer, while reading John Bevere's THE BAIT OF SATAN,
a book I got at the first anniversary of when it was a great review, 5 years earlier.
Came across the description of how people “get offended at God”
when they don't understand why in the world He's not
helping them serve Him in ministry.

It was a good question. Even as I wrote the song, I found
myself asking God about John 6, the section around 59-66.
The logical question: Why Didn't Jesus just EXPLAIN His statement
about eating His Body and drinking His blood?

Seems like God cause the situation of many disciples (not the 12 in John
6:66) getting OFFENDED, that God could have just explained.
his song helped me realize:
GOD CARES MORE ABOUT US TRUSTING HIM
than He does about answering all our questions. 
Including why He doesn't help sometimes.
Whether we get offended by His teaching method is OUR choice.

Song Story:   I had a lot of fun sketching out lyrics that used as many
DIRECTIONS as I could think of... above, behind, up, beside....
And since this is a Christmas song, I looked for nice bells sounds.
The "crazy" chord that brings "angst" into the start of the song...
That was an "accident" in God's way.  I was on the wrong track and
changed the sound to an instrument that would 'crash the program' if too loud...

But I liked the clashing that reflected how I've felt at times during Christmas.

And how other people have said they felt.

So I decided that, yet again,   this was a cool guiding from God.  
I went through every single MIDI note in that section,
experimenting as I pulled down the volume bit by bit until it didn't hang up the program.

        Johnny Kyle, owner of J&T Studio where I record tracks completed in my home studio and prepare them for my final production studio “up north”, had a foundation track he'd made called “Fever” that he liked but didn't have any plans before. I loved it, but had no ideas right as I listened.  I brought it back to my home studio...  and, within the next 48 hours  ...
         God provided the ideas for alternative melodies and counter melodies.  Then, after
I completed the new music tracks (trumpets, flute, a grungy melody sound) -- He helped me immediately “plug in” HIS Words of  Psalm 111 (the first psalm I looked at, too). 
In TWENTY minutes.  It took 1/2 hour to figure out and write into the music sheet some of those chord ideas God had given me to add to JohnnyK's  grungy rock riffs!

    I awoke with the entire first part of this song “in my head” -- not just lyrics but also the  music.  Immediately, despite the newly fallen snow outside whose cold was seeping through my studio windows at 5 in the morning, I began recording the piano track quickly before I'd forget the tune, then quickly typed up Part 1's lyrics.

    When I went back to polish the piano (that same hour), I could hear “in my head” what melody and harmony I wanted-- including the specific electric bass run I would want -- but I couldn't figure out the four chords.  So I went to the end of the track and began slowly playing chords, 2 counts each, until I figured out that I was hearing an odd-for-G-minor song  chord run of  {A major, G minor, D minor. A minor7} -- giving a nice bass walkdown of C#, Bb, A, G.

    By now, non-musicians are boredly asking “What's the point?”  Here it is: I declare that these songs are NOT by my skill... Yes I'm very good, have practiced a lot over years, have studied music theory (not with complete success but God answers James 1:5 prayers too.),

    BUT when music “just comes” so often, it's yet another evidence of Ephesians 3:20-21 - God empowers us beyond our dreams and  human skills. I'm “not special” to be a recipient for sharing His Bible words in music format to encourage people... but I assuredly feel humbled, amazed, honored. ddo
