At 3:33 AM on the morning after Claxton at Valley Worship & Praise Studio
and I had recorded LULLABY OF GOD, 
                       I awoke thinking of how often we people hurt God.  
                       About how perhaps HE would enjoy having someone who loved Him 
to sing soothing words to HIM, as a mother comforts her child,
as God Himself comforts us. ....
        And then I thought – why not? 
Why can’t we who love our Lord deeply express our love
            through lulling words of worship?  
           This song falls under the  subject of Evangelism because of the line 
“Love won't force me.  I choose You.  You won't force me.”  
Even God does not force Himself on people; 
Christ followers must follow His steps, 
       must let the Holy Spirit  guide listeners
                 after we present His Good News.

        THIS SONG initiated the concept for the AMAZING LOVE 'N' LULLABIES album; 
up until then, I had not idea whatsoever that God would continue to gift songs to His world through me. I am still astounded by His honor of letting me develop His songs.

Song Story:  
          I awoke at 4:30m in the morning ---- in the dark
thanks to Hurricane Irene  on the East Coast of the United States ----
                  with Movement 2  of  this song in my head.

    As I wrote it out the “old way” on paper,  
without my computer and recording music program (in the dark for several days.. nights:),
          God brought the idea of merging with this old hymn to my mind. 
 For quite awhile I’ve been praying for more “Blended” songs,  that merge the wonderful messages God shared with people years ago through old songs with new songs for His World.   This song is most assuredly one of His Answers.  Written with my humble thanks to Him.

Song Story:  
        The PHRASE and the music line "All Praise and Glory" kept going through my head.
So I drafted a few words in my journal in April 2010.  Almost two years later, while looking through old journals to seek a new song project to develop for LORD God,
I came across that entry.  I played around on the keyboard for a few moments, and
suddenly had the main music lines in mind.
          I had not done a children's song for a long time, and decided to begin this goal.
          Thus this became the first song in  new album... complete with hand motion ideas.
The idea to HAVE hand motions came because we'd just developed some for a
song that I was leading for the church's praise band worship that month.

Song Story:  
This song suggests evidence that God has a sense of humor.  It was inspired along a hiking trail by an average-sized-body squirrel with an *enormous* tail !
    It gives us joy to wonder at God's wonders...

    And the greatest wonder of all is that God ACTUALLY  loves us 'no matter what' weird questions come to our minds. 
    And, sadly for God, is the wonder that He actually loves
 even persons who scoff at any mention of God, 
who won't try the scientific experiment of  seeking  'god' .

    Who never give themselves the experience of honestly, with a scientific curiosity and  mind open to unexpected results,

Of all the Answers I have found, the one that amazes me
         is     found in Romans 5, verse 8 __
    God All- Mighty demonstrates His  Love, DYING for me.
        Verse 10:   While I was an enemy,
        Jesus died to reconcile me  to God.

Isaiah Chapter 29,  God says,
'these people once more I'll astound with wonders.
But intelligence will vanish from arrogant ones.”
    Verse 19:   “Humble people will rejoice,
    and the needy will rejoice” ___ with God.

Of all the questions in OUR heads,
the one that should grieve us
    is how we Christians know God's love and
    yet act so selfish...............

Song Story:  
This song was written as a chorus to GIVING UP ON CHURCH...  
but I split up the songs since, generally, songs are not ten minutes long!
The two songs obviously lead to a message that
 NO, we should not  give up on God's church.  
After all, if anyone has every had just cause to do that, 
it was most assuredly Jesus.  
For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.  -- Hebrews 12:3

And Jesus calls us to be like Him.... 
which includes going to church (Hebrews 10:25).

   Why do people give up on church?
    Because this old hymn is not part of our hearts in church.
    Because we enjoy the GIFTING of God.... yes, it is gifting, of skills and intelligence so much
    that   we too often NEGLECT praying Ephesians 3:20 for power,    SCRIPTURE LINK
    often NEGLECT praying Ephesians 6: 10 to end for protection,        SCRIPTURE LINK         as Christ's Body, Christ's Church on earth.

    As I completed this song... another fast gift from God, and began practicing the vocals, a sob kept catching in my throat.
                 Oh, how we in the Church hurt Jesus.....
