Song Story: THE LYRICS:

I awoke late, at 6:15. By 7:00, already three things had gone wrong...
and no one in the house was even up except the cats. No hairballs on floor at least.
This title came to my mind as I sat at the (long) stop light. An hour later, all lyrics
were written into my gym notebook. God's creative ideas are pretty funny:)

Song Story: THE LYRICS:
WHY is this song on the album "Amazing Holy Spirit 'n' Church"
instead of something like the "Faith 'n' Freedom" album?
Because God's church leaders more & more are taking TRUTH in God's Word and mixing it with a "bit" of false-ness based on human logic aka Philosophy....
some John 8:44 type LIES from Satan (as defined in Jesus's words).
These song lyrics were written as I was studying about another faith

and the book declared that people of that faith *believed* the words of their
collection of writings (the literal definition of "bible").... but Christian churches
are drifting. Not my words, but definitely my observations.
I wrote these lyrics (at the gym's elliptical machine again:) in deep
WONDERment at how it seems so hard for Church leaders to grasp some
simple Truths and see how illogical it is to mix in a bit of human emotion:

Song Story: THE LYRICS:

On a dreary rainy day, I trudged along for an hour in the gym and then
went to the church to pray... But it was one of those days when my mind seemed filled
with many things besides God. I started thinking of
all the times that I had sat in a church pew
before church service, supposedly "centering down"
with God in preparation to worship Him,
and yet started thinking of problems etc.

As I prayed for forgiveness this day, these lyrics same to mind immediately.
On my knees I wrote them straight through. Not a single word was changed.
God gave my the rhythm and the rhymes to turn this prayer into a prayer SONG.
As He so graciously does so very many times.

With deep gratefulness, I dedicate this God's song to Him in
sorrow at how often I've thought I was worshiping in a church pew.... and
in deep gratitude knowing that when we pray Romans 8:26, asking God's
Holy Spirit to tell us WHAT to say in prayers.... He really does! God's so Awesome!

Song Story:
   I was driving back late at night from Studio 2's session when the radio station
started speaking of persecutions around the world that no one in Europe or Northern
America including the United States ever hear about because news media doesn't
think it important to tell people when persecution is done against Christian churches.
(And frequently, no news about Jewish peoples or "unimportant" village residents, either.)

   At home at 12:30 AM, I started writing this song's lyrics. At 1 AM, I finished.
God still, always, guides when we ask Him for words to speak His Word...
Jesus's promise in John 14:26-27, repeated through God's word in Romans 8:26, etc.

Dedicated 10 January 2014 to our LORD God Who shall STILL be Lord in Control
when the Final, Prophesied, persecutions of churches really start slamming down;

Song Story: THE MUSIC:

I think the story behind this song is FUNNY. And it's by God's grace that I do, instead of getting all annoyed or fearful about “wasting time”.

This song was completed in less than 24 hours (basic music tracks also).
1. At the church sanctuary, I was praying during the afternoon before choir practice, and the concept came to mind (see final paragraphs for history).

2. That night, I played with loops in my studio program and came up with all the tracks for what is Part 1 of this song. I liked it so much that I sent it to my producer at Studio 2 to give him a laugh... He's gifted with jazz, but this is NOT my usual style. So it's another evidence of the Holy Spirit's Creative inspiration!

3. The next morning, I awoke thinking, “Well, if I'm going to write a song about getting even with Satan, I'd better be extra careful to watch for temptations because he's gonna want to get even back! AND HENCE I re-worded my original ideas to put this BRIDGE in.

Very first things I found when I went to my computer: The internet wouldn't work, a worse link than usual (but God helped of course).
AND - a flash drive FULL of files from my Studio 1 that I was supposed to take to Studio 2 over an hour from my home was not working... still isn't as I write this. But hey... God's work. I'll let Him help me figure it out:)

Song Story: THE LYRICS:

During the previous week, some mistakes I'd made were making me very fearful. I even called some of my prayer partners and confessed, with prayer requests. During my wait to see “what would happen,” I wrote the song (in 2 days) I WILL FEAR NO EVIL. During the writing, I returned to awareness of James 1 & 4, that trusting God really annoys Satan. God graciously brought me through yet another trial in less than a week yet in this small time my studio had already produced that song and put it on the World Wide Web to encourage anyone.

Our fun version, with God's help, of getting even with Satan for 'messing with' God's kids with thoughts of fears and his LIES – read what Jesus said about him in John 8:44!

Song Story:

             I was rather sad because I had only one new song for LORD God for my first studio session of the year 2014. The MORNING of that session, I was looking (and praying) through my computer folder of started music drafts-- and found a complete project never used. I prayed for a psalm to try to fit words with the music. I thought as I prayed, “How about 98?”

             Looked it up -- the words fit PERFECTLY. And... I already had recorded Psalms 96, 97 and Psalm 99. God is finishing the series! I fit the words into the music in 1/2 hours and we recorded my vocals that night even though I had a bad cold - and put the draft on the World Wide Web the next morning.

This entire work of DiDoReflections is GOD's
evidence of how HE answers prayers
when we yearn to serve Him.
His Ephesians 3:20-21 empowering for HIS glory...
not that of us little songwriters honored by Him.
