Song Story:
It was hard to write, practice, and record this simple psalm music. Simple music, but so full of sorrow. Weeping if you really pray these words. CONSIDER this:
1- On the one hand, here is David weeping for being apart from God because of the sins he had chosen; this was written around the time of David's deliberate choice to sin with Bathsheba at any cost --- including murdering her husband.
2- And we know from God's repeated Words that WE should be crying out over our sins, rather than simply rejoicing in God's promised forgiveness when we humbly ask Jesus to forgive.
3- And then, we have Jesus crying out in Matthew 23: 37 as He looks over the city of Jerusalem --- “How I wanted to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings -- but YOU were not willing.”
SO MUCH CRYING OUT IS IN OUR LIVES.... ALL BECAUSE WE CHOOSE OUR OWN CHOICES. GOD CRIES OUT IN DEUTERONOMY 30: 19, “CHOOSE LIFE.”
BUT WE SO OFTEN CHOOSE 'ME' instead.
And God who LOVES us is sad. Deuteronomy 30:19: CHOOSE LIFE.
And God who LOVES us is sad. Deuteronomy 30:19: CHOOSE LIFE.
Dedicated to God who won't force us -- who CALLS YOU to choose Him.

LYRICS
1
LORD! of my salvation! I havecried out day and NIGHT before You.!
My prayer comes to YOU. You hear
me. My soul is FULL of troubles.
I have no strength. I’m like the dead ---
those who sin, cut off from YOU by their sin.
I cry out. Psalm 88 is my prayer.
2
LORD! of my salvation! I havecried out day and NIGHT before You.!
I am so distraught! Please don’t
hide Your face from me as I deserve.
You punished me, as I deserved. I
cry: “Forgive my sins!” On your Promise, I can trust.
You forgive! Psalm 32 shows Your HOPE.
READING WITHIN THE RECORDING:
After writing his Psalm 88 Crying Out, surely David returned to his Psalm 32.
Verses 1 to 7: “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. When I kept silent [that is, did not confess my sins], my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long.
4 For day and night, Your Hand was heavy upon me. My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah. [Think on this.]
5 I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,' and You FORGAVE the iniquity of my sin!
6 For this cause, EVERYONE who is godly shall pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely a flood of many waters --- they shall not come near him.
7 You are my HIDING place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.”
PSALM 32 ANSWERING…. reading within the song
THIS WAS GOD'S REPLY TO DAVID,
THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT as JESUS DESCRIBED in Matthew 22:43.
salm 32 verses 8 through 10:
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle else they will not come near to you.
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; but
he who trusts in the LORD, MERCY shall surround him.
Be GLAD in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous, and shout for JOY, all you upright in heart! -- Psalm 32, 8 through 10.” (New KJV)
