THE MUSIC
I was experimenting again. I wrote the melody for Guitar Plucking, to match the 5-month-old lyrics, and designed chords. Then I played chords on a VIOLIN track, playing "organ style" with no pedals so that the only sustain came from how long I pressed the controller keys.
When finished, I duplicated the track twice. In Track 1, I deleted all except the top-most notes. In Track 3, I deleted all except the bottom layer of notes, and then slid them down an octave and renamed the track "Cello." And of course, Track 2 was all remaining notes.
From there I just started adding orchestra instrument tracks and playing "anything" that was basically -- but not always -- in the main chords. Finally came the thunderstorm and erupting volcano that I carefully placed and built up in sound to develop the crescendo effect. By "anything," I mean that it was not from my human musical intelligence; I truly believe that Creative Holy Spirit guided me. Because I'm not being at all proud-filled as I declare with tiny words, "This song is wow."
Song Story: THE LYRICS:
I absolutely could not remember how I'd come up with the concept for this song, so I looked up the earliest lyrics sketch in my old journal. Here's what I had written:
“Entire song inspired by 2 sentences in A.W. Tozer's THE PURSUIT OF GOD, page 37: '...holiness so ineffable that no comparisons or figures will avail to express it. Only fire can give even a remote conception of it. In fire He appeared at the burning bush; in the pillar of fire He dwelt through all the long wilderness journey....."
And my entry included a single word idea to link into the song: "Pentecost...... “
I like playing with big vocabulary words just for fun (see "Hebetudinicity"). And "INEFFABLE” just rolls off the tongue easily! BUT....... This is CRUCIAL: When I sat at the computer to create these final lyrics, I just quickly typed, making up new lyrics lines to fit the music “in my head” as I went. And I literally and in tearful awe cried out a prayer, “Oh, GOD!” when I looked back at these words that just flowed out.

Something that is ineffable cannot be described in human words at all.

A Gift to us --- Wisdom, and Power, and God's Holy Spirit living with us, to show

God came to us like a FIRE. And Jesus came as God's LIGHT.

Over and over and over and over, God says He calls to ALL, that He wants ALL to be saved from hell and to come to live with Him eternally in Heaven. 2 Peter 3: 9 and First Timothy 2:4.
